Dear ones, I just received in the mail a new book, the Balcarres lute book. This book contains one of the largest collections of lute music from Great Britain, and it is edited by Matthew Spring. it has a hard bound cover, with 2 books inside; one is a facsimile, the other transcriptions. The essay by Sprign is excellent, and up the highest level of scholarship. The price is $165, but there is a discount of 25% to LSA members.
