Well - James Tyler's book list several manuscripts which appear to have
belonged to German nobility - including one which belonged to Adelaida of
Savoy - Electress of Bavaria and another which belonged to Maria Anna von
Sinzendorff.
The situation may be similar to that in England - where lots of people
played the guitar - but little if any music was composed for it by English
composers or published in England.

Subject: [LUTE] Baroque Guitar in Germany?
Is anyone aware of evidence, other than Kremberg's 1689 book, for the
guitar in German-speaking lands before about 1750?
