MUCH revised, and greatly expanded.

Hello all,

I am confused. Is this a revised edition of what was published in 2006 or is it a companion volume.

Best,

Greg

I just got my copy of this essential book:

Congratulations to Andreas Schlegel and Joachim Ludtke!

I've never seen so many photographs of lutes, citterns, guitars and
mandolins in one book. The essays accompanying the photos are both
learned and accessible. This book is vastly underpriced, so you have no
excuse ;-) It should be in every library around the world, and on every
  player's bookshelf.
