Just to tell what happened today. Michiel Niessen and I played a concert of lute duets: Terzi next to various other composers like Dalza, Besard, Bach and some popular stuff (flamenco, as it happened). The real odd one out however was Toyohiko Satoh's lute duet Rockedy from 1986. Not easy for us, but certainly not easy for an audience coming for early music. However, most of the positive reactions afterwards were for Rockedy!
David PS: At the end of the month we'll be playing the same programme at the Institut Neerlandais in Paris. Check their website for details.
