My Liuto attiorbato has been stored in a damp environment - shame on me! The sound board has now completely dried out and the instrument has been maintained at a RH of 60% for some three months. Unfortunately the sound board was not sealed and so there are some unsightly damp stain marks. Is there anyway of successfully removing these or at least reducing the unsightly effect?
