Rainer, Lex Liederenbank = Louis Grijp know of the quest and don't have the answers either. But, perhaps one of the listers chanced upon one of these tunes. The French one ' Mes pleurs se sont changés en ris' could be an air de cour, as Hooft took many of his melodies from the Bataille editions. Someone specialised in French 16th/17th songs any idea?
