Well it's my cup of tea Stuart. This Mniature is a beautiful composition.
The Pavane sounds great too, your tone is very sweet and this on a cheap guitar.
Cheers

Subject: [LUTE] modern music on old instrument and old music on a modern instrument (Stimpson and Gervaise)

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I've been really intrigued by
trying to play some not-too-difficult, modernish guitar music on a
mandora/gallichon. The modern classical guitar: high
tension/nails/avoiding first position etc etc etc. The Baroque mandora:
light, low tension, double courses, octaves on fifth and sixth etc etc.

The first and last of Michael Stimpson's 'Five Miniatures'.

And I came across a little video I uploaded and removed a long time ago.
It's a very pretty arrangement of a Pavane by Gervaise for four-course
guitar by Pascal Boquet and I'm playing it on a very small, cheap,
modern guitar (perhaps intended for a child) which I got in an auction
for about £5.

I added some reverb. But I'm playing in a very small loft space with no
decent acoustic qualities at all. A very good player on a very good
instrument in a big room might not need a bit of lift from reverb - but
I think I do.
