Dear all,
as many of you already know the next 16th of April a big band of
lutes (~50) coming from all around Europe and Italy will play a concert
inside the amazing Teatro Olimpico of Vicenza, Italy, which is the first
stable theater in Europe, designed by Palladio in late XVII century.
While I extend to everyone the invite to attend to this unique event I've
the pleasure to inform you that in the days after the concert (17th-20th of
April), in a Palladian villa 10 minutes from Vicenza, there will be a lute
masterclass held by Franco Pavan. The course will be based on the repertoire
of the Renaissance and Baroque lute as well as theorbo and continuo playing,
so small consorts are welcome too.
