I had several attempts before I was ready to accept the number of mistakes/buzzing that remain; it's always a difficult balance to strike between a musically better take with more mistakes or one that's cleaner but less interesting. I tend to get bogged down in the first few notes, the opening note can be the hardest, to be honest. Anyway, the point is I think I slowed down my tempo during the recording session. I think the piece can stand a slower tempo still, but to sustain the legato lines becomes harder in a slower tempo. Not an easy piece, by the way. > (It's in an edition of Lute News, but I can't remember which one) I have it from Brian's Lutecosmos Volume 4. And the doggy in the video is Brian's doggy Charlie.
