Some of you may find this tool handy:
http://musickshandmade.com/lute/gerbodes/. You can search files created
by Sarge Gerbode by title word (with auto-completion) or by author.
I also started a more ambitious project, a database of composers for the
lute that seeks to merge data from Julia Craig-McFeely's English
concordances with non-English sources as well. Ideally, this project
would link composers to their biography and the list of
pieces/tunes/afrrangements etc. they are responsible for. Concretely,
the success of the project depends on Django users contributions --
Wikipedia sort of philosophy -- and properly linking scores, etc.
So don't hold your breath. Yet this tool might be useful to some as is:
there are currently 163 entries, not including some of the major ones.
