Good evening everyone! - Been a while since I've submitted a post to the list. I just got a very interesting little instrument, which I think the thing is a little closer to a Lute than my full-sized Classical Guitar. It's called a "Guilele", it's a classical guitar the size of a Ukulele. It's tuned a 4th up from standard guitar tuning, and has nylgut strings / is suggested to use those. You can view it here: http://www.cordobaguitars.com/p/gp100-guilele-pack - That's the one I got, it does not have the rosette or the fancier wood like the other model. Anyway I played Greensleeves on it and some other songs and I was astounded at how similar to a lute it sounded. It sounds more acceptable to me, and size wise fits better for me as well over my full sized classical guitar for Lute music. I wish I had an actual Lute, but I can't afford one just yet however.
