I have a quite old Trace Elliot, and have some small experience of
later ones, not including the TA100 - it somewhat pains me to say so
but I think you would find an AER reproduces your tone more faithfully.

A good competitor was the Trace Elliot TA100. Twice as expensive,
many
more buttons/dials/lights/effects. Half a kilo lighter! (6kg) Weight
is an issue, as I have many lutes but no car ...
