Here’s a little story. Sorry if it’s wordy: A musician couple I know told me that when they were young they went to an Amyway presentation. The presenter asked them to imagine all the things that they would like to have, presumably bought with the piles of money they were going to make selling Amway.
My pianist friend said that the thing he remembers wanting most was to be able to play the Rachmaninov 2nd piano concerto. What I would love in my life now, more than about anything else, would be to be able to play the Fantasia, P.1, of John Dowland. I can’t imagine it getting better than that. Now it’s time to work. Thanks again you all. Seriously. Steve To get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html
