Hi Ron, The musickshandmade site is open to a variety of formats -- All of Frank Gerbode's files are Fronimo + PDF + midi and Anton's links point to PDFs etc. on the IMLSP site. The pieces index also includes images from facsimiles. The easiest way to add a piece is to use the "add collection" feature, which takes a mandatory PDF and optional scores in these formats: Django, Fronimo, tab, abc, Muse, MusicXML, and a few other formats. If you want to upload a song in facsimile/image format, then you can use the add facsimile function and then edit the title of each individual image if there are several. I am more than willing to accept new contributions that can enrich the site, not only for lute music but also for related instruments: cittern, gamba, recorder, etc. There is a certain level of technical complexity involved in creating those searchable entries if someone wants to add more than just a few files. In that case I can assist by providing back end support. Just email me. There are some limitations on the use of the site, in particular there is a $40 contributor fee that helps keep the site alive, and also prevents spammers from flooding it with unwanted contributions. For the same reason (spam), the list of users is only accessible to other registered users, just in case you are wondering. Non-contributor users have access to all PDF scores within the limit of the first 10 pages -- practically speaking that is a limit on Django scores that may contain a large number of pieces. All external links are free for the taking. A couple more features on the site can be of interest to some: --You can add pictures of your instruments -- this can be useful for safety to have a record in case of theft, and you can advertise the instrument if you want to sell it -- or swap it for another instrument with someone else. --There is an announcement section if you want to advertise a concert, publication or recording --You can add video links from YouTube and bookmark them to create your own play-list.
