Here is a go at Flight of Fancy by Howard Skempton. He'd written a lute
piece for Nigel North a couple of years before this and maybe had come
across some short lute fantasies/fancies (but the North piece was for
Baroque lute). This one (about 50 seconds) sounds a bit like a chromatic
fantasy but also like jazz double bass.
