Yes - he came to the Lute Society and gave a couple of masterclasses and
they were excellent even if you were just in the audience. He drew your
attention to things you needed to notice when listening to music as well
when performing. He was certainly pleasant to all taking part and quite
self effacing in way. He may be old fashioned but we owe quite a lot to
him I think.
