One of the interesting features of Early Music is the way in which material was recycled. When I first saw the Contrafactum for Monteverdi's Chiome d'oro (for Easter), I remember wishing there was one for Christmas. But then I figured, how hard could it be to write a Latin version? Pretty hard, as it turns out, so I had a friend help. dt [1]aP: Claudio Monteverdi: Puer Natus (Chiome d'oro); Voices of Music - YouTube
