John Bilezikjian, a phenomenal oud player and really cool guy, died of kidney disease on January 19. Some of us will recall his appearances at Donna Curry’s seminars in the 1980s, and memorable jam sessions with Jurgen Hubscher at John's house afterwards, while his wife stuffed us full of Armenian goodies.
