Oh, no.A I recall very fond memories of John, and I was a also present at his house with Donna and Jurgen, and Toyohiko..A Yes, he and his wife were very friendly hosts, at their home in Laguna.A I recall he gave me an LP of music he had recorded in the "direct to desc" format.A He was very kind. I also recall he played on a song "Be Free", by Loggins and Messina, in which he played the mandolin, oud, and fiddle, and he told us the crazy story behind that.A This is sad news indeed. ed
