Dayton is, however, generally punteado-friendly thanks in part to the radio
program and support of Jim McCutcheon.

Subject: [LUTE] Miguel Yisrael Plug on Local Classical Radio

   All,
Our local 24/7 classical radio station, WDPR/WDPG, is in the middle of
their pledge drive this week. One of the announcers played Yisrael's
Kellner Chaconne in A early this afternoon. She commented quite
favorably and at length on his exquisite playing and the beauty of
Kellner's music. She'd never heard of Kellner before and couldn't wait
to listen to more of his Les Baricades Misterieuses CD.
Now, Dayton Ohio is not a hotbed of lute playing, or even early music,
but it was nice to hear the music and her comments today.
