    Stuttgart enquiring about this important manuscript, and now have the
    great honour to announce that they have generously decided to digitize
    the three exceptionally clear and beautifully calligraphed volumes in
    German tablature of Cod. Don. G I 4. This major work is now being made
    freely available as pdf files, courtesy of Dr. Kerstin Losert and her
    colleagues, for all renaissance lute music lovers to enjoy and explore

    Italian repertory. Signature MN (Melchior Neusiedler) frequently
    occuring. Also CN (Conrad Neusiedler). Intriguing Hebrew notes. A.o.
    fantasias by Pierino and Francesco, works by Lasso, Rore, Matelart,
    Terzi, Striggio, Borrono, Marenzio, Bocquet, Polac, etc. The last piece
    is a passamezzo by Vincenzo Galilei.
