Dear lute netters, In "Apoloos soete Lier" Vallet uses a symbol I have not seen before:
It looks (sort of) an upside down fermata and us placed between two notes. I assume it is a tie. Does anybody know if this is true and if this was a common symbol? Examples on f. 14r.
