That was also the case with Minkoff; there were facsimiles 'en préparation' for years that never saw the light of day. I contacted the CNRS publishers some time ago to try to persuade them to reprint some of 'Le Luthiste' books but they were just not interested. After recording his collected works of Dowland (over 20 years ago now!), Paul O'Dette said he was working on a new printed edition with Pat O'Brien but unfortunately that project has never come to fruition either. Maybe there could be a collective effort to help Paul complete it as all the hard work of visiting libraries and poring over manuscripts and comparing versions was done for the recording.
