Today, the CD arrived in the mail.

Thank you Martin Eastwell for this fine recording.
I like the atmosphere, neither too near to or too far from the mic, and with a clear distinction, not drowning in echo.

As for the interpretation, I like the varietie of styles.
I like the folksy guitaristic approach to some dances, and some fantasies are played with a sweet brooding mood.

I would recommend this album for anyone who wants a closer look at the sounds of Herbert's album.

Couldn't prelisten, but I trust You must be a good lute player because these pieces are extremely tricky. I would love to play these, but I guess it will take more time, so I at least want to listen to them.

One piece I would have liked to hear, the Prelude of Preludes by Diomedes. But You can't have everything :)
