I've been spending the last few days doing some research into the authenticity of the unique Francesco pieces in the Cavalcanti Ms (there were some very sensible remarks in an article by Victor Coelho that prompted me to do this)., and it turns out to be very much worth it :-) Some of those pieces are not quite what they appear to be ;-) I intend to publish some of the results in the months to come.
