Erm, but procmail readily delivers each list to a different mailbox, and
personal stuff to another, ... or just leave it in the spool. And mutt
handles as many incoming mailboxes as you want.

When I return from 10 days out on the farm, that "when I get around to
it" facility for the lists is the only thing which makes it possible to
face a backlog of 800 - 1000.
