And then there's the maintenance costs of annual cable testing, etc, etc, that are needed to keep bean counters, insurance companies and lawyers happy. The bottom line is what's going to be more cost effective - a device with a battery life that can handle a day without needing a recharge (iPad, high end Android), or a cheap tablet with charging infrastructure?
