IIRC, ACLs are still a work-in-progress on ZFSonLinux.

BTW, i'm no expert on ZFS ACLs or nfs or samba ACLs either. i'm a light
user of both samba and NFSv4 and have never had any personal need for
ACLs more complicated than unix permissions (incl. setgid directories
and samba force user/force group directives)
