I *think* that's the same bug, at least it's the only outstanding balance bug with a patch that I've seen (and on the btrfs list it's described that way in response to your systemd bug report). > 3.11 has problems with removing dozens of snapshots at the same time. I think that's meant to be fixed as of 3.11.6 and 3.12 (again as mentioned by someone on the btrfs list in response to your report). The sort of testing & reporting you're doing is really important!
