Hi HDixon, Yes, there is a LUV Beginners Workshop next Sat (17 May 2014). This monthly event usually takes place on the 3rd Saturday of the month - hence next Sat. We usually start at 12:30 pm.
As always, we usually begin the session with a talk, followed by an open Q & A session for anyone with Linux & open source questions to ask, or need help with some install & config ... Venue: VPAC is on the ground floor of Building 91, RMIT, 110 Victoria Street, Carlton, on the north side of Victoria Street, about 50m east of Swanston Street, opposite the north side of Melbourne City Baths. Public transport: frequent trams run along Swanston Street; VPAC is a few minutes' walk from Melbourne Central train station. So H, feel free to drop in next Sat.
