I remember when Ubuntu was new, and they had malone (launchpad's BTS) and apport instead of reportbug. And that was hailed as grand and wonderful, because now Ordinary People could submit bug reports without a working MUA. But for some reason the *quality* of the bug reports went downhill, so they ended up with squillions of useless duplicate "moreinfo" bugs.
