I've just enabled SPF checks on the LUV mail server. There is no good reason for anyone to use a forwarding service to send mail to the LUV lists. Therefore there is no reason for valid mail to fail SPF checks.
We have had problems of spammers sending mail to list servers that impersonate the from field of a prominent member of the Linux community who uses SPF.
