They aren't going to just pull the plug on the 31st.  I believe that the 
server room is being taken over by another associated organisation which gives 
us a little more time.  However our access to the server room may be 
significantly reduced on the 31st.  So if the LUV server has a hardware problem 
on new year's day it might involve significant downtime.
