I'd be interested in knowing also - using ubuntu on two non-touch laptops
with minimal hassle, but considering upgrading my win10 machine to linux...

perhaps ask the system76 guys?

there are a few websites that list laptops compatible with linux and
hackintosh out there too that might provide some guidance.
