I never properly understood PCIe before reading this. Not quite sure why this is on luv-main, but no doubt my confusion will be rapidly dispelled !:-) It seems to me the notation is unhelpful we have : "......Example, a PCIe x8 card slot could be bifurcated into two(2) x4 chunks or .............." Wouldn't it be clearer if "Example, a PCIe x8 card slot could be bifurcated into two(2) x4 chunks" etc was expressed as 'Example, a PCIe x8 card slot could be bifurcated into x4 + x4 chunks or....' etc ? regards Rohan McLeod |
