ERROR 2026 (HY000): SSL connection error: error:1425F102:SSL
routines:ssl_choose_client_version:unsupported protocol
I can connect using PHP fine (not using SSL) but when I use mysql CLI
client I get this error. The documentation "fix" states that "I'm trying
to connect to my Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) DB
instance or cluster using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).". I'm not trying
to use SSL. I need to load large databases so CLI is the only way to do
that.
Is the mysql client now defaulting to SSL? It appears RDS is fine with
non-SSL connections via PHP.
Any ideas?
