There are a range of FTP servers available. I used to use the Olive Tree FTP server on all phones, not because it's the best (I don't know how it compares to other recent ones), but because it was the first one I discovered that worked well and there was no reason to change. For my latest phone (without Google Play) I used Primitive FTPd from f-droid. If your LineageOS install doesn't support Google Play then Primitive FTPd is the one to use. Does your phone support wireless charging? If so you can probably solder the power wires from a USB cable to the connectors for the wireless adaptor (I know someone who did that with a Samsung Galaxy S3 and it worked for years like that). It is possible to replace the USB connector, any of the little phone repair stores can give you a quote on that. You should tell them that you don't want to lose photos, but probably none of the ways of fixing this would involve changing the motherboard. If you go to a maker space then you could probably find a soldering station you could use to try and fix it yourself along with some advice on how to do it. Getting USB data working again if you are doing it yourself is probably too difficult, but getting the USB power wires to work shouldn't be too difficult. Also for future reference KDEConnect has a huge range of ways of interacting between your phone and PC via the LAN (PC on Ethernet is fine as long as it's bridged to Wifi). -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/ _______________________________________________ luv-main mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
