Hi Andrew,

I'm using Debian with a gnome desktop. Stock standard gimp from debian
repo.

I have never used the wacom on this laptop previously.
My wacom was recognised by gnome immediatly.  confirmed by checking out
settings ->wacom page in gnome, (only present when wacom plugged in)

I could use the wacom within gimp without any further configurations.

Subject: Gimp and Wacom tablet

Hi All,

The Wacom tablet is recognised by my Ubuntu system, but is not picked
up
by GIMP.

Would this be because I have a version of GIMP installed by Flatpak or
other installer which is not set up for it?

Do I have to compile GIMP to get a better result?

     Thanks

Andrew Greig
