I have no experience with Olympus raw files, but I have often used commandline dcraw for operating on various other raw files, though it can take some fiddling with commandline options to get satisfactory results. Olympus does get mentioned in passing in dcraw's man page. I read on the dcraw Wikipedia page that darktable uses dcraw as a backend. So you'd expect similar coverage of formats, though using dcraw directly might give you more control. However, I notice that the Wikipedia page also says that the latest version of dcraw is from 2018 (verified by looking at the source code from the author's website). And in the list of supported cameras at https://www.dechifro.org/dcraw/#faq while it mentions Olympus TG-5, it's quite possible that Olympus has tweaked its raw format in the past five years, so maybe dcraw can't deal with images from the TG-7. It'll depend on what changes Olympus might have made. I guess there might be different, incompatible, versions of .orf format. Sorry if this isn't particularly helpful. I hope you manage to process your images. — Smiles, Les. _______________________________________________ luv-main mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
