I thought it was dead some time ago. The lack of RAM and the machine being quite old, I don't know; if Knoppix does the job, then sure, but I think you might want something newer if it doesn't need more resources. What are the other hardware specs? Which CPU / architecture? What RAM does it take, can it get an upgrade of the RAM if possible at a reasonable cost?
