I'm working on an embedded platform running on a MIPS architecture. We want to use Luvit but we haven't been able to get LuaJIT to work on our platform because the MIPS chip we are using lacks an FPU. I would like to try to get Luvit working without LuaJIT and with the standard Lua implementation instead. I'm prepared to invest some time and energy into this project, but I wanted to check first to see if there are any known reasons why this won't work.
