This is a very old thread, and so you have my apologies. This started off 
with Tim Caswell's vision of a GUI for Luvit.

I want to add another use case: presentations. Examples: Video players, 
slide-show-like programs including PowerPoint, general story telling. 
Imagine lovit hosting a message passing server that was directing logic for 
a presentation engine. 

That's what I'm working on and am exploring ways to connect Love2D and 
Luvit, for that purpose. MOAI looks sweet as well, but there is nothing 
wrong with Love2D either, imho.
