We have several servers (E450's, V440's, V880/V890's) with RAM's ranging from
1GB all the way upto 16GB, running a combination of Solaris 8 and 10.

On our low end boxes (E450's) which have low RAM and a slow I/O subsystem, we
have set md_resync_bufsz to be the default and have set it to 2048 on all of
our high end boxes.

What's the recommended md_resync_bufsz? and does it depend on the RAM?
Can I set this parameter to 2048 across the board?

With disk sizes growing exponentially, should this value default to 2048 to
reduce the sync times? (we may have to live with the slow I/O during these sync
times)
