LVS has no concept of the "health" of a machine itself. You need a healthcheck system to manage this for you. Try:

ldirectord  http://www.vergenet.net/linux/ldirectord/
keepalived  http://www.keepalived.org/

Both of those can also manage the LVS framework on your behalf, aswell as doing healthchecking. Alternatively, if you want a bit more work, try:

mon  http://www.kernel.org/software/mon/

Note that using mon would be a much more labour-intensive process for you, as mon is really just a framework for test scheduling and alerting.
