yes.

I'd assumed you had a range of IPs in the RIP network, but any network will do for a first attempt, with the VIP, CIP and RIPs in the same network. Make the CIP the default gw for the realservers.

Apache is configured to listen on VIP:80 (Listen 87.98.225.39:80)

so much for that theory
