Keepalived is in MASTER state Configuration file specifies BACKUP state Send HUP to keepalived
keepalived transitions to BACKUP state (Which is inconvenient, I'd rather if it was master it would just stay master, but that's not the bug) keepalived does NOT remove the VIP from the interface.
