I've had to modify the makefile a bit (for 64bit systems) to include -fPIC.
In short, here is what I've done:
Modify ipvsadm-1.24/libipvs/Makefile
Add -fPIC to CFLAGS
Modify net-snmp-lvs-module-0.0.4/Makefile
Add -fPIC to CFLAGS
I have successfully compiled and use this on a Gentoo-based system, however, on
an Ubuntu Gutsy-based system, I get the following from SNMP:
Jun 30 17:04:33 (none) snmpd[5776]: IPVS initialization failed
Any ideas?
