Frédéric, > This morning, I see that Christiaan (Hi Christiaan!!!) submit a bug > bix for "bug #16830: err_tcp() posts to connection mailbox when no > pend on the mailbox is active".
This wasn't a bix ;-), nor was it a fix ;-) The bug reporter solved it himself, no source changed. > I just want to know in which cases fix are submit like a "bug fix", > like a "patch", or in the CVS? Bugs are entered with a short description of the problem, and if possible with a hint or patch to solve the bug (bugfix). Anyone can enter a bug or bugfix. Patches are the means for non-members to contribute to lwIP, this is really anything ranging from bugfixes to development. Anyone can send a patch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patch_%28Unix%29), please use the 'unified diff format' -u. Everything should end up in CVS, that is the source for our releases. Only lwip members have CVS commit access, non-members have read-only access. Note that some problems "enter" via this list, but I prefer they are submitted on our savannah web pages. This prevents the issues being lost in noise on the list.
