And search the lwIP-users mailing list for TIME_WAIT.

Subject: [lwip-users] TIME_WAIT State

I am using LWIP 1.2.0 in the callback mode. When I use tcp_close() to force
a connection closed the pcb goes to state TIME_WAIT and never seems to leave
that state. Can anyone tell me what this state is, why the pcb seems to
stay in this state forever, and how should I respond to a pcb that is in
this state? Thank you.

Rick
