Browsing through lwip.wikia.com, it seems the whole wiki is already back
up there. How did they do that when we think we have to copy the pages
manually?
The ads are a little anoying though. I preferred the scribblewiki layout...

Well, that's just a bummer. I don't mind copying a few over by hand,

I've got an offer from wikia.com to help up get our data from Google
cache. What do you all think? We could also divide the work among
ourselves of getting content from Google's cache, but we should
probably be quick about it in case the cache data gets cleared.
Firstly thanks for taking the trouble to chase this all up.
I'm no expert on wikia.com but if they're offering to help that seems
like a good idea. Do you know of any downsides to accepting their
offer?
